EL GIGANTE AWAKENS
is a new film by Adrian Tepehua Vargas / Casa Vargas Productions and in association with MiO Productions / Jose B. Herrera which documents San Jose’s spectacular and massive Immigrant Rights March of May 1, 2006. Through varied, broad, and spectacular visual images of the march and its spirited participants, along with interviews, music, and photography, the energy, spirit and hopes of the participants is captured in its dramatically historic essence.
